Pullman Cafe, Sandford

Open 9am to 3pm (watch the early closing), the cafe is located in the old goods shed of the station.  It also caters for the nearby old folks’ home, and residents were the majority of the customers.  There was the usual selection of baked spuds, paninis, sandwiches, etc, with daily specials.

My wife and I opted for the special of the day, cottage pie, as we had walked from Yatton and were walking back.  The full plates turned up within a couple of minutes of us ordering !

There is limited on-site parking as you are expected to walk or cycle there.  Blissfully free of background music.
